Welcome to Minehead Class!

Welcome to Minehead class! Minehead class consists of 7 learners, one in year five and the rest of the class between years 7 and 9. In class we make use of a range of different learning styles across the curriculum. We utilise a range of sensory learning opportunities, role play and hands on experiences to support learner engagement and ensure learning is accessible for all. Learners in Minehead class excel by ensuring familiar routines, using a range of communication methods, building attention and a self-regulation focus. Learners in Minehead class also incorporate self-help and independence skills, turn taking and social skills through the day. Every success is celebrated, no matter what this may look like!
