Welcome to Exmouth Class!

Exmouth Class is a dynamic KS4 class at Selworthy School, made up of 9 hardworking learners who each follow a personalised curriculum designed to meet their individual needs. Our learners are working at a range of levels — from those developing early mark-making skills to others working towards Entry Level 1 qualifications in English and Maths. 

As a team, we value each other’s strengths and work collaboratively to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. Alongside academic learning, our students are completing a Vocational Skills qualification and taking part in a range of activities that promote independence, confidence, and preparation for adulthood. 

This year, our main focus is building confidence within the community. Many of our learners are also taking part in transition work to prepare for their next placements, gaining valuable experiences that will support them in their future pathways. 

Exmouth Class is a positive, inclusive and hard-working group where every learner is encouraged to achieve their personal best and take the next steps toward independence.
