Welcome to Basil Class!

Basil class is a calm nurturing environment for our learners to be able to grow and thrive in.  It is made up of six learners ranging from year one to year three, who bring a smile to our faces every day. Within class we celebrate every win whether this is tiny or huge.  

Our biggest focus for our learners is working on their speech and language needs to give them each their own voices in whichever way this could be, either through use of high-tech devices or using facial expressions and signing. But equally importantly we work hard on our learner's physiotherapy plans to be able to give them the best opportunity to thrive moving forward.   

I feel incredibly grateful to be supported by a wonderful team of ladies in our class who know how to best support or learners but also who can push them to be the best that they can be. Basil class is filled with laughter, smiles and emerging friendships.
