Class Teacher Kathryn Frawley

Welcome to Kilve Class!

Kilve Class is a wonderful community. We currently have nine learners in our class, ranging from Year 7 to Year 9. We are supported by a team of experienced Teaching Assistants and a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, all of whom work alongside the Class Teacher.

We have a class community code that everyone refers to:

• Enthusiastic

There have been countless occasions when learners have referred to this code, and we’ve seen it in action—whether they’re engaged in their learning or simply spending time together.

We remain busy across all our subjects, not only in terms of academic progress but also in life skills. These include sharing and recognising that it’s okay to be different, to have different opinions, values and beliefs. The Kilve community is beginning to show growing abilities in working together and supporting one another. This has been especially noticeable in their cooking lessons, which they look forward to every week.
