Welcome to Porlock Class!

Porlock class consists of 9 learners with one learner in year 4, and the other learners in years 7 and year 8. In Porlock class, we explore a range of different learning styles in each subject, from sensory, role play, hands on experiences and paper-based learning opportunities to ensure learning is accessible to everyone. Porlock class work hard in all areas of their learning with the help from their team of familiar adults. 

Learners in Porlock class strive for success with the support of familiar routines, a variety of communication methods, building on attention and listening skills, self-regulation and sensory exploration opportunities. Porlock class work hard on their listening skills, independence, social skills, turn taking and sharing abilities throughout each day. We ensure that each learners successes are acknowledged and celebrated, no matter how big or different each learners steps may be!
