Welcome to Tarragon Class!

Tarragon Class is a vibrant and energetic EYFS and Year 1 class where we lay the foundations for each child’s learning journey. Our focus is on developing attention, communication, social and motor skills within a varied and inspiring EYFS curriculum. 

We offer a balance of more structured and free-flow learning, making full use of our outdoor space in all weathers. Learning through play is at the heart of what we do, and we embrace child-led learning by following the interests and curiosities of our learners. 

Every child’s learning is carefully tailored to meet their individual needs. We provide a nurturing and supportive environment where learners can grow in confidence and reach their full potential. In Tarragon Class, we hold appropriately high expectations for all, ensuring every child is challenged and celebrated for their achievements. 

We also work closely with our parallel class, Fennel, to provide a consistent and collaborative approach across the phase
